BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Kendra Spence Cheruvelil is dean of MSU’s Lyman Briggs College (LBC), which is MSU’s residential college for ~2000 undergraduates who are studying the sciences within their societal and global contexts. Dr. Cheruvelil co-directs the Data-intensive Landscape Limnology Laboratory that created LAGOS – a research platform for conducting U.S. lake research at scale. Dr. Cheruvelil also conducts collaborative and interdisciplinary research to understand the factors that promote equity and ethics in STEM. As a biology educator, she builds student competencies in teamwork and advances inclusive excellence.
