Nudrat Fatima

Nudrat Fatima, a PhD student since Fall 2023, holds a BS and an MS in Environmental Science from Fatima Jinnah Women University, Pakistan. Her prior research focused on developing chemical solutions for managing plastic waste and addressing aquatic pollution caused by industrial, specifically textile effluent. As a research associate at the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI), she contributed to sustainability and policy initiatives. Nudrat is now pursuing a dual-PhD in Earth and Environmental Science and Environmental Science and Policy under supervision of Dr. Jay Zarnetske, with the dream of becoming a policy hydrologist, driven to make a significant impact in her field.
