Faith Longnight

Faith is currently a second year PhD student in Curriculum, Instruction, and Teacher Education. Her research interests are focused on understanding the experiences of minoritized individuals within informal environmental education spaces. Faith hopes to use her research to investigate ways for environmental science programming to best support their diverse learners and educators. 

Faith grew up in Oregon and obtained a B.S. in Chemistry and Sociology from the University of Oregon. She has years of experience as an environmental educator in various contexts. Outside of academics, Faith loves to be outside, particularly swimming or camping, and she always enjoys a craft.
